Does the color of your vehicle make a difference?

I was speaking with a passenger a few weeks ago about the color of my car. They stated they were happy that my car was black because they feel safer in black vehicles. I didn't quite understand the logic but I guess brighter color cars can sometimes be intimidating to some people. Do you think the color of your vehicle matters when driving people around? The standard for the longest time was yellow when it came to taxi cabs and black for limos.

I think it does in some cases. Red, orange, and yellow cars tend to be the most intimidating and white, black, and silver tends to be the most inviting. I have never had any complaints though myself. I have a deep navy vehicle.

For more than 99% of people, I would say it does not matter. My car is red and nobody ever complained about it.

I personally wouldn't mind being picked up in a bright yellow car from 20 years ago, as long as it's clean and I get to my destination then no worries. I know not everyone would agree, though.

Maybe black and white cars feel safer because people have associated that with police cars? I never heard of someone having this kind of preference though. The car I currently use is silver.

I think so. Individual's favourite varies when it comes to the colour of vehicle. Some like black while some will not ride with you if your vehicle is not black.
