What was one of your favorite passengers you have had the pleasure of working for?
Mine had to be this lovely older woman. She had only just learned how to use her smart phone and the app so I had to help her with a few things. She wanted to stop a few places to pick up some items and while it was not in the original destination, I did it anyways. She was so grateful she bought me some candy and gave me a tip. She had lost her license because of eye troubles so she had to rely on others sometimes to help her get around.
A couple who were on their way downtown to get married had to be mine. I still remember them. Very friendly younger couple and I could just tell they were going to make it. I felt like I was driving for a romantic comedy with those two.
I once carried this old man one Tuesday morning to the airport. We had a nice conversation discussing how he met his wife and their 25 years journey so far. He was very friendly, and the ride was worth it indeed. I didn't wanted it to end. Well we exchanged contact and have been driving him since then, going to 1 year now.
I gave a ride to this woman and her daughter to an ice cream place. It was just a minor trip but the little girl was so excited. We were talking about our favorite flavors and what she was going to get. When we arrived, she even offered to buy me ice cream with her piggy bank savings. It was adorable!
