Having spent over 5 years driving passengers around, I have had my fair deal of complainers. While my ratings were almost always good, a couple that was in a rush to get to the airport kept complaining that I was not driving fast enough. I went the shortest route and drove the speed limit but this was not good enough. They ended up filing a complaint about me but nothing ever came of it because I was not in the wrong.
Oh yes, I think you can find these at most public service jobs though. I have had some very nasty things said to me that weren't true, bold face lies. You'd be surprised what people think up when they are just having a bad day.
Yes. I believe have the right to decide if I feel comfortable picking up a passenger. Because my personal safety comes first. I once drove up to a passenger and I felt somehow uncomfortable for safety reasons, the dude called Contact Support. He reported me I was issued query. Very annoying.
I have had many dealing with things that were out of my control like being a man or the weather. I don't understand how people expect every moment of every day to be perfect and a driver is responsible for it.
I can't say I have but I have not been driving very long. I only started at the end of 2019. I think people are for the most part nice where I am or too polite to complain even when they should.
I had a driver that was upset I was late but I was waiting in the pick up spot where I was requested for over 20 minutes. They were a good 50 feet away from me. So I not only got yelled at but got a bad review.
