Yes, I think. However, rental vehicles must be part of an approved partnership for drivers in order to be used on the Uber platform. Please note that use of an unapproved rental car can result in permanent deactivation. Some cities where Uber operates offer vehicle solutions for drivers, including approved rental and leasing options.

According to the filing, the driver’s bonuses will be based on how many trips they’ve done for the company. If the driver makes 2,500 trips he or she gets $100. That increases to $500 for 5,000 trips, $1000 for 10,000 trips, $20,000 for 20,000 trips and $30,000 for 30,000. The maximum payout is $40,000 for 40,000 trips. The drivers have to complete a minimum of 2,500 trips as of April 7 to be eligible for the bonus. The driver also has to be in good standing. International drivers’ bonuses will be adjusted to reflect the pay in their local market.

Are you referring to leasing a car and using it for Uber? You still qualify for everything. You just have to make sure when you are leasing, you are following the contract for your lease agreement. Some forbid this kind of driving.

If you mean renting and not leasing, then no. You cannot drive rental cars. This is not only against the rental policy but Uber will not allow it. Leases can be used but you have to get them approved.
